Netted with a high tensile rope, 15 times stronger than steel in weight, and lit by changing colored lights, Tsunami was inspired by the events that unfolded following the 2010 Chile earthquake using a 3D model of the 2010 tsunami.

He was a member of the USA team that won the Bronze medal in the 2011 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Tokyo, Japan. It was announced on July 1, 2012 that Dalton would be a member of the 2012 Olympic team.
